25/12: COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS

My commission order book is now full till the end of the year so I can't accept any portrait orders for delivery before 25 December.

However,a Portrait Gift Voucher makes a wonderful gift and is valid for one year which enables the recipient to select their favourite reference photo(s) at their leisure. Please see my website for further details.

If you are the recipient of a Gift Voucher issued during 2010 and require a portrait to be completed by Christmas please contact me .. I  allow some free space in my schedule for redemption of Vouchers and can probably accommodate your requirement.

Best Wishes
Sue

  2. I'm sure your order book will soon be full Kay.

For the past couple of years I've received lots of enquiries around August/September for Christmas orders which has been fantastic as it enables me to plan my workload in advance ... and as David's birthday is late November we like to allow some time for a holiday to celebrate/commiserate accordingly!

I've been offering vouchers for 3 or 4 years now. I think its a great option as the recipient gets to select THEIR favourite photo.

Thank you Gary .. I appreciate your comments :o)

  9. Thanks Gary
I stopped taking orders in September and now have a 'comfortable' run-up to Xmas. I am doing fewer commissions this year, from choice, as I want to get some exhibition pieces done - mainly wildlife pics which I really enjoy.

  10. Thank you Sue. I'm filling up with Christmas commissions, but sadly I've had a few back out because they unexpectedly got laid off. I guess employers don't want to wait till the holidays to do that. You are smart to start booking in the summer!
